Regional key figures; national accounts, 1995-2022
Description
Regional accounts provide a quantitative description, consistent with national accounts, of the economic process of regions within a country. National accounts distinguish production, income distribution, expenditure and financing as components of the economic process.
However, the regional accounts focus on the description of the production processes in the different regions.

Status of figures:
The figures for the reporting years up to 2020 are final. The figures for the reporting year 2021 are also final with the exception of the variables working years, persons employed and hours worked. Due to the late availability of the annual data on the self-employed, an exception is made for figures on years of employment, persons employed and hours worked. These data will not be published as final until one year later. The figures for the reporting year 2022 are still provisional. As this table has been discontinued, the data will no longer be finalised.

The Central Bureau of Statistics recently revised the national accounts. New sources, methods and concepts are introduced into the national accounts, so that the picture of the Dutch economy is optimally aligned with all underlying statistics, sources and international guidelines for compiling the national accounts. For more information see section 3.
