Description
This map layer is part of the version of the Provincial Environmental Ordinance Drenthe adopted on 3 October 2018. (Corresponding card A). The province of Drenthe is the manager of the waterway network in Drenthe. It is of provincial importance for both freight and recreational shipping to connect the waterways in Drenthe to the national main shipping network. For recreational touring there are continuous and circular sailing routes. This has been elaborated in the Vaarwegen management plan.
