Description
This map layer is part of the version of the Provincial Environmental Ordinance Drenthe adopted on 3 October 2018. (Corresponding map C2). The deep drilling prohibition zone is part of the groundwater protection zones aimed at protecting the groundwater extracted for drinking water supply. In areas with clay layers in the subsoil, there is a natural protection of groundwater extraction. The purpose of the prohibition zone is to prevent the deterioration of natural protection.)
