Description

The *Access to Information Act* provides members of the public and corporations with the legislated right to access federal government records, subject to certain limited and specific exceptions. The Act complements other methods for obtaining government information, and does not limit in any way the access to government information that is normally available to the public upon request. This statistical report concerns requests made under the *Access to Information Act* during the fiscal year beginning April 1, 2017, and ending March 31, 2018.
