Amphibian train stations control system
Description
The data set "guide system" together with the data sets "bucket", "photo point", "passage" and "stop channel" forms a clarification to the data set "amphibious traction points". It contains the guidance systems of the amphibian train stations of the Canton of Aargau. These are barriers that prevent amphibians from entering the streets during the amphibian migration. The amphibians, who feel the urge to get to the other side of the road, follow these guidance systems and fall into buried buckets, from where they are brought to the other side of the road in the morning or come to a passage, where they can pass the road underground. The course of the control systems was determined in the field by recording points (recording device: GPS from Leica, System 1200, Accuracy in the forest: 1m). Based on these points, the control systems were digitized in the office as a polyline.
