Historical flood events/flood lines
Description
The flood lines indicate the largest extent of a flood, i.e. the boundary of the area flooded during the flood. The flood lines are absorbed, for example, by the deposition of flotsam, which was swept along during the flood. They are also referred to as alluvial lines or water level fixations.
