Version of Robuust water system — Beekdalen adopted by Provinciale Staten van Drenthe on 3 October 2018. The province of Drenthe aims for robust brook valleys in 2030. Robust stream valleys can withstand a greater amount of rainfall water, which, as a result of climatic changes, gathers in the stream valleys. Here, the drain is not passed on to any other area or shifted to the future. With a lot of precipitation there is a risk of water on the ground. Existing functions need to adapt to these impacts of climate change. The task and urgency in the stream valleys is different and therefore there is room for custom solutions.
