Description
The data product Railway data for noise calculations is a compilation of networked railway data for use
in noise calculation program. The data product includes datasets for noise protection, level crossings, track data and
planned rail traffic according to the timetable for the year in question.
The purpose of the data product is to provide standardised bases for noise calculations, which in turn provides more efficient
and safer handling of information in noise investigations. In the long term, comparability between different noise investigations is also expected
get better.
The data product consists of datasets connected to the railway network. The data product consists of several datasets.
The data product contains data used in the calculation of noise from rail traffic. The railway network is homogenised. This means that all attributes are available for all railway routes but there is no data for certain attributes on certain routes.
