Service WMS (Web Map Service) PHC Hydrographic Network 2022-2027
Description
The WMS (Web Map Service) service called ‘PHC 2022-2027 hydrographic network’ allows the visualisation and consultation of the data set representing the delimitation of the basic hydrographic network of surface water bodies corresponding to the third planning cycle 2022-2027 river basin management plans, as reported to the European Commission in March 2023. The dataset is the result of the integration of the information provided by the 25 Hydrographic Districts, in response to Article 13 of the Water Framework Directive. It includes information on the 14 plans approved in the Council of Ministers on 24 January 2023 (the 12 intercommunal basins, the Balearic Islands and Galicia Costa) and of the other plans still pending approval in the version of the latest available documents. These last plans are those of the 7 Demarcations of the Canary Islands, Catalonia and the 3 Andalusian demarcations.The structure of the data is specified by the reporting guidelines of the Water Framework Directive, which can be consulted at https://cdr.eionet.europa.eu/help/WFD/WFD_780_2022.
