Maximum permissible heights (military)
Description
In the planning, approval and construction of wind turbines (WEA), in addition to other military concerns, the Minimum Vectoring Altitude must also be taken into account (MVA: The minimum vectoring height (MVA) is the lowest altitude, expressed in foot AMSL (Above Mean Sea Level (MSL)) for which a radar controller can grant altitude clearances during vectoring/direct route sharing.).
Over the Bavarian and Baden-Württemberg military airports, there are zones (provided in the military aviation manual (https://www.milais.org/publications.php)) in which these altitudes are identified, which must not be exceeded when constructing wind turbines.
