WFS LGRB-BW INSPIRE GE HG: Hydrogeological Units – INSPIRE Download Service for Baden-Württemberg
Description
The INSPIRE download service of the hydrogeological units ge_hg_d includes a classification of hydrogeological units without top layers for Baden-Württemberg (HKoD_BW), as they are found at the LGRB from the Geological Map (GK_BW or GK50; ge_gk) was derived. The GK_BW is under constant revision, so that the HKoD_BW is also updated at irregular intervals. The hydrogeological units of the HKoD_BW are differentiated according to their permeability in aquifers (Aquifer, FeatureClass AquiferType) and aquifers (Aquitard, FeatureClass AquitardType), which are included as separate feature classes in service. The data layers Aquifer and Aquitard together form a comprehensive map basis. Special attention was paid to the spread of quaternary loose rock aquifers.
An aquifer type is assigned to each hydrogeological unit (cavity type: Pore aquifers, clefts, karsts or mixed aquifers), which coarsely characterise rocks (hydrogeochemical rock type: silicate, carbonate, etc.) and an estimate of mean permeability or permeability ranges (permeability).
