Description
Here is the “validated ecological status of rivers” layer of the CARTO BD of the Water Observatory of the departmental council of Creuse.
The CARTO BD of the observatory contains a vector description of the elements and infrastructures of the department of Creuse and the surrounding area, concerning water quality. The data produced by the Conseil départemental de la Creuse are based on information collected on the ground by actors analysing the quality of water within the environmental management and by external partners. This layer is located in a database dedicated to the observatory. This represents from the common reference frame bodies of watercourses, the data of the Agence de l’Eau Loire Bretagne on the general physico-chemical state. The data awarded shall provide the following information: water body code (single identifier allowing attachment), name of water body, index qualifying the status of the watercourse and finally the corresponding category of the ecological status of the watercourse.
