LGRB-BW RAW: Raw material extraction in open pit mining (area)
Description
Area data collected at the raw material holdings, whereby the LGRB’s “farm surveys” usually take place either in the context of the Regional Plan Advice of the LGRB, with opinions as the bearer of public concerns, with the preparation of raw materials maps or on the occasion of the raw material report. Four groups of areas are distinguished: (1) Property, which is subdivided into land species (1a) Depletion area = area currently affected by mining (‘scarved’ area). (1b) Enlargement area = still “unscarved”, but area already approved for mining. (1c) Recultivated/regenerated area = refilled area, refilled area or renatured within the existing concession. (2) Areas applied for are not shown and may be requested from the Landratsamt, the Landesbergdirektion or the government headquarters. (3) Former excavation area = no longer concessioned area in which earlier (including historical) mining was bypassed; it is subdivided into (3a) former extraction area, fully dismantled (no more stocks) (3b) former extraction area, not fully mined, but without constructional reserves (3c) of the former mining area, not fully mined, with remaining stocks still worth building.
