The data set contains the legally binding monument areas in the district of Vorpommern-Rügen in accordance with Section 2(1)/3 and § 5(3) of the Monument Protection Act M-V. Monument areas are groups of buildings worthy of protection, regardless of whether the individual structures are for themselves construction monuments.
