Air - Immission traffic forecast 2030 Particulate matter (PM10)
Description
File provides a forecast of the air quality of particulate matter around national, provincial and municipal roads in Gelderland in the year 2030. The data have been calculated nationally using the Monitoring Tool. For each road section, the projection for the concentration of PM10 at 10 meters from the edge of the road is indicated. The air quality is shown in five concentration classes. According to the standards, the annual mean concentration should not exceed 40 μg/m3. The World Health Organization (WHO) recommends 20 μg/m3 as a standard according to the latest scientific knowledge. In addition, a standard for the daily mean concentration of 50 μg/m3 applies. The daily mean concentration limit may be exceeded up to 35 times per year. The legend shows the average annual concentration of PM10. The sources, such as industry and agriculture, are incorporated into the background concentration. The total concentration also includes the direct contribution from road traffic.
