A beneficiary of the increased intervention (BIM) is a person who benefits from a higher reimbursement for his health care, mainly because of a situation of precariousness. In addition to reducing healthcare costs, beneficiaries of the increased intervention are eligible for other benefits, including reductions in public transport and social energy tariffs. Being a beneficiary of BIM therefore generally indicates a precarious situation. This indicator is available by age group and gender.
