Description
This spatial data set consists of four layers of geographical information alluding to Toponymy, existing in the Autonomous Community of Andalusia:
— Toponymy of population nuclei (tp01_topo_nucl)
— Orographic toponymy (tp02_topo_orog)
— Coastal toponymy (tp03_topo_litoral)
— Hydrographic toponymy (tp04_topo_hydro)
In 2013 the new version of the Spatial Reference Data of Andalusia (DERA) is published and comes to complete and replace the Spatial Data of Andalusia (DEA100) published in 2009, passing this group to be called G18 Toponymy.
The information, mainly from the different departments of the Junta de Andalucía, and from numerous public institutions and municipalities, has been standardised and homogenised to facilitate its comparability, access and immediate integration into any GIS.
