Belgian Cancer Registry: Complex Surgery of esophagus
Description
In the context of complex surgery, conventions have been set up between the RIZIV/INAMI and recognised medical centres for the reimbursement of Complex surgery of tumours of the oesophagus or gastro-oesophageal junction and non-oncological conditions of the oesophagus. This convention states a mandatory registration of variables through the Belgian Cancer Registry, including the report of the multidisciplinary consult, the pathology report and the surgery report.
