European roads

Description

The European roads are numbered from E01 onwards. The number is marked on the road signs with white text on a green background. Basic and intermediate roads are double-digit, although there are also three-digit basic and intermediate roads in Eastern Europe and Asia. In general, the Ministry of Transport and Communications is responsible for the preparation of TEN-T and E-roads in Finland. Decisions are made at EU level by the European Union regulation TEN-T roads or the AGR agreement, which defines E-roads and their numbers. Decisions concerning international networks and any changes will be notified to the Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency via the Ministry of Transport and Communications. And based on that, the changes, numbering will be taken to Tiewizard, Wizard according to the decision. The operator of the road wizard is responsible for maintaining the information. The target category is not versionable. The information covers roads and ramps.
