WFS: Geology — Geology and Usage Potentials of the Deeper Underground
Description
The Geological Service SH deals with the exploration of the deeper underground. A geological 3D model was developed for the country’s uptake, showing the depth and spread of relevant formations. In addition, theme maps on usage potentials are developed. The maps of this service show the areas and relevant formations of the 3D country model as well as potential areas for the installation of compressed air storage systems and hydrogen/natural gas storage facilities in salt caverns in the mainland of Schleswig-Holstein.
