MR.Mineral Resources (Viewing Service)
Description
MR.Mineral Resources (Viewing Service) is an OGC Web Map Service for the purpose of complying with the INSPIRE Mineral Resources Theme Data Specification. The underlying dataset is developed and harmonised according to specifications from various EU projects, including Minerals4EU and ProSUM, and contains information on mineral deposits, mines, mining waste and production.
The data set is based on SGU's mineral resource database (point data on mineral and rock deposits), as well as supplementary compilations of metal concentrations and tonnage for larger fields of mineral deposits from SGU's ore database.
The view service presents the information with attributes according to EarthResourceML Lite.
