Renewable Energy Atlas Flanders - Current energy production solar water heaters
Description
This map layer is part of the Renewable Energy Atlas Flanders. The number of solar water heaters per municipality for the year 2014 comes from VEA on the basis of data from the EPB declarations and the premiums issued by the network operators. From this, heat production is estimated, with a distinction between domestic and non-domestic solar water heaters. Finally, the municipal number is allocated to the residential and tertiary roof area within the municipality. The results are presented here at the level of the statistical sectors. The figures per municipality can also be consulted in the attached table.
