Description
Presentation of the proportion of ornamental gardens for 12 DGK 5-sheets in the greater Saarbrücken area. Basis: Aerial image evaluation of the current land use in 1998. Ornamental gardens include all green spaces within the residential areas except those of the utility gardens. There is no distinction between well-kept ornamental green such as hedges, flower beds, park trees and fallow areas. Attribute fields: “Z_GARTEN” = classified crop garden, 1 = 1-10 %, 2 = 11-30 %, 3 = 31-50 %, 4 = 51-70 %, 5 = 71-90 %, 6 = 91-100 %, 7 = no ornamental garden, but useful garden available, 8 = neither utility garden nor ornamental garden available, 9 = polygon not classified (no residential building); “Legend” = verbalised designation.
