County of Herford: Land Use Plan - WMS
Description
A large number of land use plans exist for the area of the district of Herford, but these are not yet available across the entire area. The perimeters of the existing land use plans (as far as they are available to the district) lead you to further links to the document of the land use plan. The Land Use Plan (FNP) (preparatory land use plan) represents the intended urban development of a municipality. It is the result of a fundamental political and professional planning process of a municipality. Its contents are based on the provisions of § 5 of the Building Code (BauGB). The land use plan is a preparatory land use plan that does not have any direct legal force for the citizen, but only contains internally binding requirements with regard to the content of building plans and non-binding information on the decision on approvals of projects. Land use plans must be approved by the higher administrative authority (usually district administration) and are binding for the development of subordinate plans.
