Participation in a Local Action Group (LAG)
Description
The indicator specifies whether the municipality is part of a Local Action Group (LAG).
For the period 2007-2013, the criteria for setting up an LAG are as follows:
1. The LAG is made up of public-private partnerships (local institutions, associations, individuals, etc.) with at least 50% private partners and at least 3 municipalities.
2. The area covered must have a population density of less than 150 inhabitants/km2 or more than 80 % of unmanufactured land
3. The population must be between 10000 and 50000 inhabitants.
Since the criteria are calculated on the territory of the LAG, it is impossible to know whether a municipality is eligible or not.
For the period 2014-2020, the criteria for setting up an LAG are as follows:
1. The LAG is made up of public-private partnerships (local institutions, associations, individuals, etc.) with at least 50% private partners and at least 3 municipalities.
2. The area covered must have a population density of less than 150 inhabitants/km2 or more than 80 % of unmanufactured land
3. The population must be between 10000 and 70000 inhabitants.
Since the criteria are calculated on the territory of the LAG, it is impossible to know whether a municipality is eligible or not.
