Gross investment in property, plant and equipment; volume figures per month
Description
The results relate to indices and year-on-year developments in the volume of gross fixed capital formation. The indices are based on 2015=100. Investments in tangible fixed assets include expenditure by corporations, households, non-profit institutions and general government on produced tangible assets used in the production process for more than one year. Investments in intangible fixed assets (research and development, software, licences, etc.) are excluded.
Data available from: January 2004.
Status of figures:
Figures for 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 are provisional. The other figures are final.
Changes as of 20 June 2024:
Figures for April 2024 have been added.
The figures can be adjusted by making new and updated source information available. In addition, the monthly figures are adjusted to the results of the quarterly accounts and national accounts. A revision of the national accounts takes place every five years.
When will there be new figures?
Approximately seven weeks after the reporting period.
