MSDI Defence Dangerous and Exercise Areas
Description
In relation to MSDI, see Act No 336 of 6 June 1991, Order No 73 of 30 January 2002, Order No 64 of 30 January 2002 and the Shooting Annex to Intelligence for Seafarers No. 1. The layer shows the Defence’s permanent shooting and exercise areas at sea in relation to MSDI. However, the military’s shooting and exercise activities are not limited to these areas. As the Act and the Orders are not always adequate in terms of position indication, the individual om-advised has been brought into line with the area’s display in the official electro-nian charts published by the Danish Geodata Agency (GST). The layer shall be kept up to date according to any corrections to the Orders. Temporary shooting and exercise counseling are not introduced into the layer, but are advised in the intelligence of seafarers on an equal footing as the activation of the permanent shooting and exercise areas.
