Slope basin area to each cell 25x25 m
Description
Map of accumulation of slope area in each cell of 25x25 m. Each cell indicates the surface, upstream of each cell, slope to it (km2).
It has been obtained from the Drainage Directions Model (MDD) corrected in order to obtain a derived network coincident with cartography 1:25,000 (BCN25) and with the watersheds.
The accumulated surface model is obtained by algorithms that accumulate the number of cells using the drainage address model (MDD) as the starting data. Thus, a matrix map of accumulated flow addresses (MFA) is obtained, in which for each cell, it accumulates the number of cells that drain to it. Finally, the product of the number of shed cells is calculated by the surface of each of them (625 m2).
The methodology applied to obtain this information and its application for the hydrographic classification of rivers in Spain according to the Pfafstetter method has been developed by CEDEX.
