Map Planning Wind Energy NRW
Description
The State Office for Nature, Environment and Consumer Protection of NRW (LANUV NRW) publishes the planning map Wind in the Energy Atlas NRW (www.energieatlas.nrw.de). Here, the current state of development of wind energy in North Rhine-Westphalia as well as the results of the area analysis Wind Energy 2023 are published. Numerous planning maps for settlements, species conservation, nature and landscape, water bodies, infrastructure, traffic and forest borders the area search for the further expansion of wind energy via the exclusion procedure. The wind increases can be used to estimate yield potential for planned wind turbines. The gdb and the mxd provided here for download contain all layers of the planning map Wind, for which there is a release for data transfer.
