Pasture of dairy cattle; LU class, region, 2010-2020
Description
This table contains figures on the percentage of farms offering dairy cows and/or the associated young cattle grazing. In addition, figures are included on the percentage of lactating dairy cows and the female young cattle offered during the pasture season. If grazing has been presented, it shall be indicated how it is distributed in dairy cows according to the form on which it was presented (day and night/limited) and the number of hours of grazing per day. In the case of pasture of female young cattle, it is assumed that the animals are grazed day and night. The figures are broken down by farm size classes based on the number of LUs (large livestock units) and by province.
