Management areas for predators
Description
The data set contains official limits for the management areas set by the predators lynx, wolverine, wolves and bears. Within these areas, predators should be given priority, outside these areas grazing animals have priority. This means, among other things, that the predator areas are prioritised breeding areas for predators, and within the management areas, measures will thus be aimed at grazing animals, for example in the form of support for fencing, early depopulation of grazing animals and so on. For Hedmark county, the regional predatory board has defined parts of the priority area of bears and lynx as an area where predators with cubs can be allowed.
