Description
According to objective 3.3 of the regional development plan Capital Region Berlin-Brandenburg (LEP HR), basic functional priorities (GSP) are to be defined in the regional plans. The establishment as a basic functional focus gives particularly functional districts of municipalities extended opportunities in the areas of settlement development and the development of large-scale retail trade.
Decisive for the establishment of a GSP is primarily the presence of the 11 equipment features specified in the LEP HR (e.g. seat of the local government, primary school, general medical care, kindergarten, youth care, elderly care). The planning body has carried out the examination of the equipment criteria and identified 31 districts, which are determined as basic functional focal points in application of the criteria of the LEP HR.
