Seagrass meadows in some sectors of the Almeria coast
Description
Characterization of seagrass meadows of three sections of the coast of Almeria: Punta Entinas-Roquetas de Mar, Natural Park of Cabo de Gata-Níjar and Villaricos-Pulpí, elaborated in order to evaluate the state of the meadows, analyze their faunal diversity and, from the information obtained, elaborate adequate maintenance and conservation proposals. Mapping has included Posidonia oceanica, Cymodocea nodosa, Zostera noltii and Zostera marina. The results of this work were incorporated into the paper publication: Meadows and Marine Forests of Andalusia, edited by the Ministry of Environment.
