Itineraries and soft mobility paths
Description
This database contains: — The itineraries SuisseMobile (Randonnée, Vélo, MTB and Roller) — The inventory of hiking trails marked by the Union Fribourgeoise du Tourisme (UFT). — Inventory of snowshoe hiking trails. — The inventory of ski hiking trails. — The location of InfoPoints signs. The routes and the inventory of hiking trails are extracted from the federal soft mobility network management application “MISTRA MD (Mobility Douce)” developed by OFROU. These data are based on the basic geometry of swisstopo’s landscape topographic model (MTP), which is updated annually. The canton and the UFT are responsible for updating and maintaining soft mobility data on the MISTRA MD application. With a latency of a few months, the time for the information to be validated, the updates are then reported on the cantonal map portal.
