List of training establishments
Description
The list of training centres of the Free State of Saxony, whose visit according to the provisions of the Federal Training Promotion Act (BAföG) of 26 August 1971 (BGBl. I, page 1409), according to the status of the 25. Act amending the Federal Education Promotion Act (BAföGÄndG) of 23. December 2014 (BGBl. I, page 2475) can be funded.
The list of training establishments is structured as follows:
• Name of the training centre
• Indication of the postal address of the training centre (school location)
• Educational course
• Type of training institution
Evening High School (formerly Evening Middle School)
Evening gymnastics
Vocational training school incl. preparatory courses for the preparation of the visit of the College
Vocational school including all forms of basic vocational education
※ Promotional school
Occupational Gymnasium
School of applied sciences whose attendance requires completed vocational training
School of applied sciences whose attendance does not require completed vocational training (non-technical school)
High School of Applied Sciences
1-year-old FOS requiring completed vocational training
2-year-old FOS, which does not require completed vocational training
Secondary school incl. study colleges (determination examination, language courses)
The College of Directors
High school (formerly middle school)
Occupational academy
University of Applied Sciences

Approved, state-recognised substitute school (Section 2(1), third sentence of the BAföG)
Private supplementary school recognised as equivalent (Section 2(2) BAföG)
