Digital Surface Model, 1m (DOM1)
Description
The Digital Surface Model (DOM) describes the natural course of the earth's surface and the objects on it, such as buildings, vegetation, etc., by means of three-dimensional coordinates of a representative set of ground and non-ground points at the time of its acquisition. The DOM is part of the Digital Altitude Model (DHM).
The spatial surface points - as the data basis of the DOM - are mainly captured by aircraft-based laser scanner flights.
The digital surface model of the state capital Dresden is updated at irregular intervals and depending on the data situation locally limited. Depending on availability, three-dimensional point clouds of different origins, e.g. from aerial surveying and drone flights as well as terrestrial and aircraft-based laser scanning, are used.
Location system: ETRS89 UTM Zone 33
Altitude system: NHN at DHHN2016
The digital surface model is provided with a grid width of 1 m.
