Originally, the term referred only to the vegetation that covered the soil, but human structures such as buildings are also classified as soil cover.The soil cover stock was derived from 3 LANDSAT-7 ETM+ satellite images from the year 2001 using a semi-automatic classification.The soil resolution is 15m, the soil cover is classified into 9 classes.
