Description
This dataset contains the natural habitat zoning identified in the objective document of the Natura 2000 sites in Limousin. This data is to be used in connection with the table awarded information on natural habitats (L_N2000_HABITAT_NATUREL_A_R75_L).
Please note: this dataset is not exhaustive about the New Aquitaine region. It concerns the perimeter of the former Limousin region. The objective document of a Natura 2000 site contains the biological inventory and description of natural habitats, in particular those of Community interest. All habitats present on the site, whether of Community interest or not, are identified and mapped. Habitat identification is based primarily on the traditional phytosociological approach.
NOTE: this geographic layer is being compiled and validated, the GIS data is not exhaustive, for more information see the maps contained in the DOCOBs.
