REDIAM. WMS Standardized Rainfall Drought Index in Andalusia. Year 2015
Description
WMS service corresponding to the series of monthly layers in raster format of the Standardized Rainfall Drought Index (IESP) in 2015. This indicator is based on the calculation of accumulated and standardized monthly rainfall anomalies. Although in general the negative values correspond to dry months and the positive values reflect non-dry months, the following are established:
categories: IESP > -0.4: No drought; -1<IESP<=-0.4: Moderate drought; -1,7<IESP<=-1: Severe drought; -2,3<IESP<=-1,7: Extraordinary drought; IESP<=-2.3: Exceptional drought. This information has been obtained in the framework of evaluation, monitoring and characterization of the climatology of Andalusia. Node of the Andalusian Environmental Information Network.
