Description
1:100,000 geological maps of Hungary. The Hungarian Geological Institute decided in 1997 to prepare a surface geological map and a GIS database of the whole country with a uniform key and a scale of 100,000. Building on the traditions of previous decades, the original map sheets were prepared on Gauss-Krüger map sheets, but in the official EOTR (Uniform National Map System) coordinate system in Hungary.
