BFD5L - BFD5L: Number of fields
Description
The map set BFD 5L (soil area data of the agricultural area on a scale of 1:5000) was developed as part of the project 'Soil function-related evaluation of soil estimation data' in close cooperation with the Hessian State Office for the Environment and Geology, the Oberfinanzdirektion Koblenz, the State Office for Surveying and Geobasic Information Rhineland-Palatinate and the Ingenieurbüro Schnittstelle Boden. As a basis, the data of the soil estimation were used, which have been collected uniformly throughout Germany for the agricultural area since 1934 and provide information up to one meter of soil depth. Documentation of methods:The number of arable land and grassland is a ratio and indicates the natural yield of a site. It is calculated from the soil or grassland base number by taking into account other parameters (e.g. climate, slope or forest shadow in the case of arable land). (bfd5l_ertragsmesszahl.pdf)
