Description
It represents a useful basic cartography to address environmental and agronomic problems. The salinity chart describes the salinity status of soils between 0-50 cm. It is a first representation derived from geostatistical analysis based on precise data collected in the Soil Database. The representation of the territory takes place through a knitted structure consisting of cells with a side of 1 Km. The card contains information about: the salinity class according to the USDA Soil Survey Manual (Richards, 1954); the electrical conductivity value of the saturated paste extract (ECe in dSm-1) estimated through geostatistical analysis; the reliability of the estimate, or the degree of reliability of the value provided that allows a correct interpretation of the Charter.
