Strategic Noise Maps (MER) 3aFase_Ld

Description

The data contain the isophone lines of the acoustic indicator Ld (Day Noise Index), obtained in the preparation of the Strategic Noise Maps (SRM) of the third phase of implementation of Directive 2002/49/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 June 2002 relating to the assessment and management of environmental noise (END). The lines corresponding to all the strategic noise mapping units that had delivered geospatial data of their third-phase SRMs to the Ministry have been included in a single geodatabase and were available to the public in the Basic Information System on Acoustic Pollution (SICA) on 17/11/2021. Each Spatial Data Set, including the one described, provides all information in line format for the Ld indicator for the different types of SRM available, namely major airports, major road axes, major railway axes and urban agglomerations. For the latter there may be isophone lines for this indicator for sources of air (aircraft), rail, road, and industrial noise. It should be noted that the information is not complete, because until the fourth phase of implementation of the NDS there was no legal obligation to deliver geospatial information, and for different mapping units (MEUs) it may not have been delivered, or it has been delivered in the form of polygons (not included in the coverage of information with lines), or there may be delays or failures to deliver. The information that has been included is that available in SICA on 17/11/2021.
