BRO - Geotechnical CPT - Geology (INSPIRE harmonized) ATOM
Description
Data from geotechnical probe research (kenset) as stored in the Basic Subsurface Registration (BRO). Geotechnical probe research (in English Cone Penetration Test, abbreviated to CPT) is research that aims to obtain information about the soil or geological structure of the subsurface, in which measurements are made at the subsurface in the field by pressing a cone-shaped probe into the ground. Traditionally, the goal with the probe is to determine the resistance and friction that the cone experiences on the way down in order to derive mechanical properties of the substrate.
