Species propagation Other Species
Description
The data set contains generalised distribution maps of other marine species in Norwegian areas that are not covered in the categories “fish” or “sea mammals”. Based on a 30-year term. For each species, map layers are for different themes, such as distribution and area of validity.
A scope of validity has been defined for most species propagation maps.
Spawning areas are mostly time-limited, their validity is listed in the property table.
Many of the species have their own professional contacts. These are listed in the property tables, as well as on https://www.hi.no/hi/temasider/arter
Each species has its own service record in Geonorge (WMS, WFS), linked to this dataset.
