Building on slack ground - Sheet pile complexity
Description
Determining the stability of sheet piling constructions is a complex task that is very location-specific and requires customization. It is therefore not possible to include all variables that are relevant in a generic classification. However, an important relevant variable that can be classified in a generic way is the composition of the soil profile next to a sheet pile. The soil profile around a construction pit largely determines the technical complexity of the sheet piling construction to be constructed.
