Load-bearing layers

Description

The load-bearing layers are divided into bound and unbound load-bearing layers. The bound load-bearing layers are rigid and load-bearing structural layers created with binders, the purpose of which is to increase the load-bearing capacity of the road structure and to form a correct shape and strong base for the pavement. Unbound load-bearing layers are load-bearing structural layers constructed from unbound aggregates, the purpose of which is to increase the load-bearing capacity of the road structure and to form a correct shape and strong base for the pavement. The Centres for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment are responsible for maintaining the information.
