Ruissalo's land cover at different times
Description
The data contains information on the land cover of Ruissalo in 1945, 1962, 1973, 1989 and 2002. The land cover has been interpreted from aerial photographs and classified into 7-8 categories (grassland, meadow, wooded meadow, managed grassland, field, forest, built around and other). In the original material, both raster files and ESRI shapefiles. The data was produced by Laura-Leena Mäkinen for her thesis at the Department of Geography at the University of Turku.
