Dropzones

Description

Dropzones are perimeters where it is permitted to park vehicles from cyclosharing services in a free fleet; i.e. bikes, scooters and scooters shared in a free fleet. The dropzones are marked and displayed in the public space in order to inform and raise awareness among users of the obligation to park their shared vehicle there. The data are managed by the Region for dropzones located on regional roads and by the 19 municipalities for dropzones located on municipal roads. The data shall be accessible and used by free-fleet cyclosharing operators through a collaborative platform; an update of the data is carried out daily on the platform in order to ensure better synchronisation with the platforms and interfaces of the operators.
