Characterization of the water quality of the lower course and mouth of the Guadalquivir with Remote Sensing: Year 2010.

Description

Information collected and generated within the project of characterization and monitoring of the environmental quality of the water environment of the lower course of the Guadalquivir River, from the municipality of Alcolea del Río to its mouth. The characterization has been carried out using geometrically and atmospherically corrected images of the Landsat 5 satellite captured by the TM (Thematic Mapper) sensor, which in turn have been crossed with data of parameters measured in situ, generating algorithms by parameter, so that once applied to the image data are derived from: suspended solids content, chlorophyll-a, turbidity and water transparency. The following information is included: 1. Geographical location of the sampling points (in shape format (InfGeografic\InfVectorial\Shapes) and in Excel (InfGeografic\InfAlfanum). 2. Photos of each of the points sampled (Images). 3. Data measured during the field campaign (Documents\Sampling), including radiometry data per point, the analysis of samples both for the day 30/06/2010 (Analytics\Sampling_30062010.xls) and for the sampling of the rest of the dates coinciding with the acquisition of landsat images. Included in these data (3.) field notebooks, working protocols and manual of use of the radiometer used. 4. Radiometric data once processed, including the spectra obtained by sampling point and their correspondence with the Landsat bands, correlation between field reflectivity and that obtained from the image (Documents\Radiometry\Processed_Data\RefCampo_RefImg.xls), correlation between reflectivity and parameters for obtaining algorithms (Documents\Radiometry\Processed_Data\2_Correlation_Cla.xls; 2_SD.xls_Correlation; 2_SS.xls_Correlation; 2_Correlacion_Turbidez.xls) and spreadsheet with validation of results (Documents\Radiometry\Processed_Data\3_Validacion.xls). Finally, methodological and results reports (Documents\Reports) are also included. The images of suspended solids, chlorophyll, turbidity and transparency are integrated into the REDIAM data repository in the following route: Y:\01_CARACTERIZACION_TERRITORIO\04_SENSORS_SATELITALES_IMAGENES\08_LANDSAT\02_TM\03_PFIS.
